Dear SAIE Teachers and Community,

亲爱的SAIE教师和社区成员：

Today, we join the nation in celebrating the 40th anniversary of China’s National Teachers’ Day — the 41st observance of this important day of recognition.

今天，我们与全国人民一道，共同庆祝中国教师节设立40周年——这一重要节日的第41次纪念。

Traditionally, Teachers’ Day has been a moment to honor the heroism and sacrifice of educators. At SAIE, we never overlook that truth: teaching is not one job, but 100,000 consequential decisions — large and small, often made without perfect measures — all directed toward helping young people grow. Much of this dedication is unseen, not explicitly demanded, and sometimes never even asked for by parents, students, or schools. Yet our teachers step forward, knowing that someone must do it, and they do so with quiet resilience and unwavering resolve.

传统上，教师节是为了致敬教育者的奉献与牺牲。在SAIE，我们始终铭记这一点：教师的工作不是一份单一的工作，而是十万件大大小小的关键决策——往往没有完美的标准，却始终指向帮助学生成长。这些付出常常不被看见，不被明确要求，甚至没有被家长、学生或学校提起，但我们的教师们仍然主动承担，用沉静的韧性和坚定的信念完成这些责任。

This year, we want to push the meaning further. We celebrate our teachers not only for their personal commitment, but also as essential parts of the system we are building together — a high-functioning, policy-driven, mission-driven school. Every attendance check, every homeroom meeting, every parent conversation, every safeguard, every lesson plan, every professional standard upheld — these pieces interlock to form the integrity of the whole. We are not perfect, but we always strive to make it better.

今年，我们希望赋予教师节更深的意义。我们不仅要赞颂教师们的个人奉献，更要感谢你们作为系统不可或缺的组成部分，共同建设一所高效运作、政策驱动、使命驱动的学校。每一次考勤、每一次晨会、每一次与家长的沟通、每一项安全守护、每一份教案、每一条职业规范——所有这些拼接在一起，才形成学校整体的完整与坚韧。我们并不完美，但我们始终努力让一切变得更好。

Our collective strength rests not only on extraordinary individual efforts but on the unity of a professional community. At SAIE, “all for one, and one for all” is not just a phrase — it means that when one of us upholds high standards, that act also upholds high expectations for students on behalf of colleagues across the hallway, right upstairs, and throughout the campus. In this way, each teacher’s actions ripple outward, strengthening the whole system of fairness, integrity, and excellence for students and families.

我们的力量，不仅来自教师个人非凡的努力，更源自我们作为一个专业共同体的团结。在SAIE，“人人为我，我为人人”不仅是一句口号——它意味着，当一位教师坚守高标准时，他/她不仅是在对学生提出高要求，更是代表走廊对面的同事、楼上的同事以及整个校园的教师群体在对学生提出高期待。正是这样，每一位教师的行动都会向外扩散，强化整个系统，为学生与家庭守护公平、诚信与卓越。

On this Teachers’ Day, we honor you — our teachers — as system-builders, culture-shapers, guardians of standards, and role models. You make SAIE a place where high expectations and high support converge into lasting impact.
