About SAIS｜关于深美

Shenzhen American International School (SAIS) was founded in 2005 and is a fully accredited international school by the Ministry of Education of China and Cognia. Located in Shekou, Shenzhen, SAIS offers a full K–12 international education pathway for expatriate, Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan, and returnee families.

In 2025, SAIS became an officially IB PYP Authorized School, joining a select group of institutions recognized by the International Baccalaureate Organization. The PYP emphasizes inquiry-based learning, global awareness, and the development of principled, compassionate lifelong learners.
Combined with AP and A-Level offerings in high school, SAIS integrates academic rigor with personalized learning, cultivating future-ready students equipped to thrive in a changing world.

深圳市深美外籍人员子女学校（SAIS）创立于2005年，位于深圳南山区蛇口，是一所经中华人民共和国教育部与广东省教育厅批准设立的外籍人员子女学校。SAIS获得美国Cognia教育质量认证，拥有完整的K-12必威Betway中文版体系，融合IB、AP和A-Level三大课程方向。

我们于2025年正式获得IB国际文凭小学项目（IB PYP）授权，是深圳为数不多的授权学校之一。IB PYP强调以学生为中心的探究式学习，注重培养孩子的全球视野、跨学科整合力与终身学习者精神，全面契合SAIS“面向未来教育”的理念。

In PreK–G5, students follow the IB PYP framework with a focus on inquiry, transdisciplinary learning, and real-world connections through bilingual immersion, hands-on projects, and outdoor learning.

In middle school, students deepen academic knowledge while building global awareness, problem-solving skills, and preparing for the transition into AP/A-Level coursework.

SAIS high school offers two academic pathways: the U.S.-based Advanced Placement (AP) and the A-Level elective track. Students graduate with a U.S. high school diploma while preparing for admission to top universities worldwide.
