Thanksgiving Day

Dear School Leaders and Teachers, 

尊敬的校领导，各位老师：

As our child successfully transitions to their dream university, we write this letter with profound gratitude. 

值此孩子顺利步入理想大学之际，我们怀着无比感恩的心情写下这封信。

Looking back two years, during a critical period of uncertainty in 10th grade due to unforeseen circumstances, Principal Chery Li of SAIS guided us with her exceptional educational vision and professional wisdom.Her intervention not only resolved our child’s academic challenges but ultimately paved the way to university admission. Our entire family holds this kindness etched in our hearts.  

回首两年前，孩子在高一时因客观原因面临求学困境，一度陷入迷茫与焦虑。正是在人生转折的关键时刻，深美李梅校长以博大的教育情怀和专业的育人智慧，为我们指点迷津。帮助孩子成功转轨，最终圆梦大学校园。这份恩情我们全家铭记于心。

What particularly moves us is your remarkable faculty team of Ph.D. educators.Beyond their academic excellence, they teach with genuine dedication. Under their mentorship, our child not only strengthened their knowledge foundation but also cultivated critical thinking and deep inquiry skills. Every spark of intellectual exchange in the classroom became invaluable nourishment for their growth. 

尤其令我们感动的是，贵校拥有一支令人敬佩的博士天团师资队伍。老师们不仅学术造诣深厚，更以赤诚之心育人。在你们的引领下孩子不仅夯实了知识基础，更学会了批判性思考和深度探究的方法。课堂上每一次思维火花的碰撞，都成为他成长路上最珍贵的养分。

Equally heartening is the school’s immersive international environment,which opened a window to the world. Through cultural diversity and an inclusive academic atmosphere, our child learned to examine issues with a global perspective, embrace differences through dialogue, and find their direction through exploration. This experience equipped them not only with outstanding language and cross-cultural communication skills but also shaped their independence. Principal Chery Li further supported their future planning amidst her demanding schedule, empowering them to stride confidently toward their own life stage.  

更让我们欣慰的是，学校浸润式的国际化人文氛围，为孩子打开了眺望世界的窗口，多元文化的交融，开放包容的学风，让他学会以全球视野审视问题，在交流中理解差异，在探索中确立方向。这段经历不仅赋予孩子出色的语言能力和跨文化沟通力，更塑造了他独立自主的人格。李梅校长更是在百忙之中支持孩子从容规划前程，清晰坚定的走向属于自己的人生舞台。

From facing potential interruption of education to now entering higher education with self-assurance; from an uncertain teenager to an insightful, aspirational youth with international competitiveness—this transformation blossomed because of SAIS, Principal Li, and your esteemed Ph.D. faculty team. You provided not only academic redemption but also spiritual awakening and empowerment. 

从一度无学可上的困境,到如今自信迈入高等学府，从懵懂少年蜕变为有主见，有理想，有国际竞争力的青年。这一切的转变皆因遇见了深美，遇见了李校，遇见了博士天团，你们给予的不仅是学业上的救赎，更是精神层面的唤醒与赋能。

We extend our deepest appreciation to the school. Thank you for the leadership’s foresight and commitment, and to every teacher for your tireless dedication and wisdom. May SAIS continue nurturing more students with excellence, empowering brilliant futures.
