近日,高藤学子在 ECA 活动中开启了对咖啡文化的探索之旅,在研磨、萃取与品鉴中触摸咖啡的多元魅力。另外,师生团队还走进敬老院,用艺术手工为老人们带来温暖和陪伴。从咖啡手作到公益活动,高藤学子以热爱践行探索,用行动传递温暖。
Recently, SMCS's students have embarked on a cultural exploration journey starting with coffee in their ECA clubs, experiencing the diverse charms of coffee through grinding, brewing, and tasting. Additionally, teacher-student teams have visited nursing homes, bringing warmth and companionship to the elderly through artistic handiwork. From coffee making to public welfare activities, SMCS's students pursue exploration with passion and spread warmth through actions.

高藤咖啡社团首次课程上,“一尺见学”的专业咖啡师给同学们带来了理论结合实操的咖啡体验课。从咖啡豆的起源、传播脉络,到专业的品鉴技巧,同学们摆脱了书本的局限,在动手实践中真切走进咖啡文化。
At the first session of Coffee Club, professional baristas from "One Step Academy" delivered a coffee experience class combining theory with practice. Covering everything from the origins and spread of coffee beans to professional tasting techniques, the students broke free from the limitations of textbooks and truly got close to coffee culture through hands-on practice.
关于“ESPRESSO”的深度探索
Deep Exploration of "ESPRESSO"

张老师率先带领大家通过 “闻“、”做”、“尝” 和拉花等步骤探索咖啡奥秘。同学们边学边练,对咖啡文化的理解不再停留在表面。
Teacher Zhang took the lead in guiding everyone to explore the secrets of coffee through steps: " smelling ", "making", "tasting", and latte art. The students learned by doing, and their understanding of coffee culture no longer stayed superficial.

起源于埃塞俄比亚高原的咖啡豆,因 “咖啡基因库” 的盛名成为历史的缩影。同学们借着鼻尖的香气回溯咖啡发展:从便捷的速溶时代,到浓郁的意式风潮,再到追求品质的精品阶段,香气里藏着时光的印记。
Coffee beans originating from the Ethiopian Highlands have become a microcosm of history, renowned as the "coffee gene bank." Through the aroma at their nostrils, students traced the development of coffee: from the era of instant coffee to the rich Italian coffee trend, and the specialty coffee phase focused on quality. The aroma holds the marks of time.

After learning about its development, the students were eager to try making ESPRESSO.

在张老师的指导下,他们依次练习磨粉、调试机器、控制萃取时长,反复调整中逐渐熟练操作,指尖的触感与鼻尖的香气让学习兴趣愈发浓厚。
Under Teacher Zhang's guidance, they practiced grinding beans, adjusting the machine, and controlling extraction time one after another.
Gradually, they became proficient through repeated adjustments. The feel on their fingertips and the aroma in their nostrils deepened their interest in learning.




当香气四溢的 ESPRESSO 端到面前,同学们满怀期待品尝。
When the aromatic ESPRESSO was served, the students eagerly waited to taste it.


有人皱眉感受醇厚苦味,有人细细品出尾调的微酸,还有人发现了隐藏的回甘,这份亲手制作的独特风味,让大家对平日的咖啡有了新认知。
Some frowned as they felt its rich bitterness, some savored the subtle acidity in the aftertaste, and others discovered the hidden sweet aftertaste. This unique homemade flavor gave them a new understanding of the coffee they usually drink.

在张老师的介绍下,同学们还通过尝试拉花的方式了解了其他咖啡种类的制作方法和时代背景:
相较于 ESPRESSO,拿铁因牛奶的加入更显柔和,而从基础心形到简单树叶纹的拉花教学,更让大家对咖啡美学产生了兴趣。
With Teacher Zhang's introduction, the students also learned about the preparation methods and historical backgrounds of other coffee types by trying their hand at latte art.
Compared to ESPRESSO, lattes are milder because of the added milk. The latte art lessons—ranging from basic heart shapes to simple leaf patterns—further sparked their interest in coffee aesthetics.




除此之外,同学们还通过星巴克的咖啡发家史了解到卡布奇诺、美式咖啡等背后的商业故事。
Besides, the students learned about the business stories behind cappuccino, Americano, and other coffees through Starbucks' coffee founding history.
咖啡社团的首次课程,不仅展现了同学们的动手与学习能力,更通过文化的分享让校园氛围愈发浓厚。一杯咖啡串联起历史与当下,让同学们在品味中拓宽国际视野,提升了综合素养。
The first session of the Coffee Club not only showed the students' hands-on and learning abilities but also enhanced the campus atmosphere through cultural sharing. A cup of coffee connects history and the present, allowing students to broaden their international horizons and improve their comprehensive qualities while tasting it.

When Artistic Creation Meets the Tenderness of Time

近期,高藤经济学老师兼学生会指导老师 Frank带领成员 Carl、Nini,走进上海浦东浦惠明川养护院开展志愿活动。
Recently, Frank, SMCS's economics teacher and student union advisor, led members Carl and Nini to Puhui Mingchuan Nursing Home in Pudong New Area Shanghai, to carry out volunteer activities.
在 Carl 与 Nini 的耐心陪伴下,浦惠明川养护院的老人们亲手挑选、拼贴出专属的花卉作品。
With the patient company of Carl and Nini, the elderly at Puhui Mingchuan Nursing Home handpicked and collaged their own exclusive flower artworks.




当独一无二的纸花束成型时,一张张笑脸格外耀眼。感受着这份纯粹的快乐,两位同学也深深懂得了此次志愿服务的非凡价值 —— 用艺术的力量,点亮他人的时光。
When the unique paper bouquets took shape, every smile shone brightly. Feeling this pure joy, the two students deeply understood the extraordinary value of this volunteer service — using the power of art to light up others' days.
此次志愿者活动不仅为敬老院的老人们带去了欢乐,也让高藤学生会成员们深刻体会到艺术的力量和社会服务的意义。
This volunteer activity not only brought joy to the elderly at the nursing home but also enabled SMCS's Student Union members to gain a deep understanding of the power of art and the meaning of social service.

Whether students are exploring cultural heritage through handmade coffee or spreading warmth through art as volunteers at nursing homes, SMCS's students have developed a sense of social responsibility and broadened their international horizons through diverse experiences.
