启航新程｜UEC新学期，从这里开始

周一上午，UEC举行了新学期开学典礼，全校师生齐聚一堂，共同迎接充满希望与挑战的新学期。

On Monday morning, UEC held the opening ceremony for the new semester. All teachers and students gathered together to welcome a new term full of hope and challenges.

典礼在庄严的国歌声中拉开帷幕，本次开学典礼由AS 1班的劳同学主持。

The ceremony commenced solemnly with the national anthem. It was hosted by Student Lao from AS Class 1.

梁校长首先致辞，他对新加入学校的师生表示热烈欢迎，并回顾了学校上一学年取得的辉煌成绩。梁校长强调，学校始终坚持以学生为中心，注重培养学生的全球视野和综合能力，希望同学们在新学期里能够勇于探索、追求卓越。

Principal Liang gave the opening address. He extended a warm welcome to the new teachers and students joining the school and reviewed the outstanding achievements of the previous academic year. Principal Liang emphasized that the school always adheres to a student-centered approach, focusing on cultivating students' global perspective and overall competence. He expressed his hope that students would bravely explore and pursue excellence in the new semester.

Jessie校长详细介绍了本学年的教学计划和特色活动。她表示，学校将为同学们提供更多元的学习体验和更广阔的发展平台，鼓励大家积极投身于课堂学习与课外活动中，全面提升自身素质。

Principal Jessie detailed introduction the teaching plans and featured activities for the academic year. She stated that the school would provide students with more diverse learning experiences and broader development platforms, encouraging everyone to actively participate in both classroom learning and extracurricular activities to comprehensively enhance their qualities.

优秀学生代表朱同学分享了自己的高效学习方法与时间管理经验，建议同学们制定明确目标、合理规划时间、积极参与课堂互动，并保持持之以恒的学习态度。

Outstanding student representative Zhu shared efficient learning methods and time management experiences, suggesting that students set clear goals, plan their time reasonably, participate actively in class interactions, and maintain a persistent learning attitude.

新生代表生动分享了暑期夏令营的收获与感悟，表达了对未来校园生活的期待，希望能够在这里收获知识、友谊和成长。

A new student representative vividly shared the gains and insights from the summer camp, expressing anticipation for future campus life and the hope to gain knowledge, friendship, and growth here.

优秀教师代表陈老师在发言中承诺，将一如既往地倾注热情与专业，陪伴每位学生成长，助力他们实现梦想。

Representative outstanding teacher Ms. Chen promised in their speech to continue devoting passion and professionalism as always, accompanying each student's growth and helping them achieve their dreams.

爱丁堡公爵奖野外探险活动参与者高同学分享了他们的体验与成长，讲述了在挑战中学会坚持、在团队中懂得协作的宝贵经历。

Gao, a participant in The Duke of Edinburgh's Award field expedition, shared their experiences and growth, recounting the valuable lessons of learning perseverance through challenges and understanding collaboration within a team.

最激动人心的颁奖环节将典礼推向高潮。学校对上一学年在各方面表现突出的个人和集体进行了表彰。

The most exciting award ceremony segment brought the event to a climax. The school recognized individuals and groups who had demonstrated outstanding performance in various aspects during the previous academic year.
