新生营：不只“适应”，更为“赋能”

Freshman Camp: 

Not Just "Adapting," But "Empowering"

从团队协作的体育游戏到烹饪挑战，同学们在欢笑中打破隔阂。高藤不仅教他们如何“走出去”，更教会他们如何“生活得好”。 

From team-building sports games to cooking challenges, students broke down barriers amid laughter. SMCS not only teaches them how to "step out into the world" but also how to "live well."

活动引入哈佛商赛沙盘模拟体系，分析真实商业案例，让学生初步认识现实商业世界，提前接触经济、商科等国际课程内容，通过策划商业模拟方案，充分发挥创造力和团队协作能力。

The activities introduced the Harvard Business Competition simulation system and analyzed real business cases, allowing students to gain an initial understanding of the real business world. They were exposed to content from international courses such as economics and business in advance, and gave full play to their creativity and teamwork through planning business simulation plans.

当日设置生物、物理、化学三大实验模块，将学科知识融入真实问题情境：  

The day featured three experimental modules: biology, physics, and chemistry, integrating disciplinary knowledge into real problem scenarios:

浦东美术馆从观赏到临摹，感受到艺术的魅力与力量。

At the Museum of Art Pudong, from appreciation to emulation, students felt the charm and power of art.

升学规划启蒙咖啡座谈

Matriculation Planning Enlightenment Coffee Talk

在环境优美的一尺咖啡，同学与企业家见面，现场问答，后续又有资深规划导师及校区负责人主持，为学生提供1V1咨询，制定新学期的学习方案，以及后续的升学规划。

In the beautiful setting of One Step Garden, students met with entrepreneurs and engaged in on-site Q&A. Later, senior counselors and campus leaders hosted one-on-one consultations to help students formulate study plans for the new semester and future matriculation plans.

结营汇报中，学生以个人or小组的形式全面展示五天的学习成果。我们欣慰地看到： 

In the closing presentations, students showcased their five-day learning outcomes individually or in groups. We were delighted to see:

- 有学生首次自信地站上演讲台；  

- 有学生准备了全英的汇报发言；

- 有同学对实验产生了兴趣；

- 有学生对老师、同学表达了感谢；

- 同学从陌生的个体到默契的团队……

- Some students stood on the lecture stage confidently for the first time;

- Some prepared their presentations entirely in English;

- Some developed an interest in experiments;

- Some expressed gratitude to teachers and classmates;

- Students evolved from unfamiliar individuals into a cohesive team...

活动结束，老师为每位同学发放了结营证书和礼品，高藤始终尊重学生主体地位，重视学生情感体验，就像本次活动的主题“开启不一young 你”，高藤鼓励每位学生多去尝试体验，多去突破自己。最好的教育，是让每个孩子都被看见、被理解、被支持。

After the event, teachers presented each student with a completion certificate and gifts. SMCS has always respected students' dominant role and valued their emotional experiences. As the theme of this event goes, "Unlock Your Unique 'Young' Self," SMCS encourages every student to try more, experience more, and break through themselves. The best education is to ensure every child is seen, understood, and supported.

高藤始终坚信，教育的核心不仅在于传授知识，更在于点燃志向、培育能力、塑造品格。本次新生营是我们送给每一位新生的欢迎礼，也希望成为他们求学路上的第一块基石。

SMCS has always believed that the core of education lies not only in imparting knowledge but also in igniting aspirations, cultivating abilities, and shaping character. This freshman camp is a welcome gift to every new student and is hoped to be the first cornerstone on their academic journey.
