Master Class ｜ 美育公益课堂：品读中国画魅力与广彩技艺

Ms. LIN Shuran’s lecture, titled “Elevating Aesthetic Awareness, Illuminating the Future”, provided a captivating journey into the profound beauty of Chinese painting. She eloquently illustrated core artistic concepts — including “learning from nature while expressing inner inspiration”, “capturing both form and spirit”, and “the expressive power of lines and blank space” — through a curated selection of classical and contemporary masterpieces. Ms. LIN particularly emphasised how these timeless aesthetic principles apply beyond art, enhancing innovation and design thinking across various fields.

在《提升审美力，点亮未来》的专题讲座中，林淑然女士引领同学们深入品味中国画的独特魅力。她结合经典与现当代佳作，生动阐释了“外师造化，中得心源”、“形神兼备”、以及“线条与留白的表现力”等核心美学观念。林女士特别强调，这些深厚的审美智慧不仅限于艺术领域，更能提升未来各行各业的创新与设计思维。

Engaging interactively with students, Ms. LIN patiently addressed their thoughtful questions about composition, artistic conception, and creative process. She encouraged everyone to nurture their aesthetic sensibilities through continuous observation, learning, and practice, expressing her firm belief that the ability to perceive and create beauty will be a significant future advantage for every student, regardless of their chosen career path.

Mr. ZHOU Chengjie began his workshop by introducing the illustrious history and distinctive features of Guangcai, showcasing exquisite examples of this vibrant and gilded porcelain art. Students gained an appreciation for its status as a cherished national intangible cultural heritage before embarking on their own creative endeavours.

在非遗广彩工作坊伊始，周承杰老师首先为同学们介绍了广彩的悠久历史与独特风格，展示了金碧辉煌的广彩精品，让大家直观感受到这项国家级非遗的魅力。

The workshop then transitioned into a practical session, with each table equipped with white porcelain plates, specialised Guangcai pigments, fine brushes, and palettes. Under Mr. ZHOU’s attentive guidance, students learned and practised the foundational techniques of outlining and colour filling. He moved among the tables, offering individualised advice and appreciating the students’ creative designs, fostering a supportive and inspiring atmosphere.

体验环节中，每张桌上备齐了素白瓷盘、广彩专用颜料、细毛笔及调色盘。在周老师细致的讲解和示范下，同学们认真学习并实践“勾线”、“填色”等广彩基础技法。周老师穿行于各桌之间，耐心点评每位同学的创作，现场互动频繁，艺术氛围浓厚。
