CISH Academic Highlights – The World of Arts at CISH

Grade 5

CISH Grade 5 Maple Dragons wrapped up their unit on optical illusions with an engaging and creative art project. Through hands-on exploration, they gain new insights into digital portrait photography, using weaving techniques to create striking “glitch” artworks. This project highlighted the knowledge of visual perception, technology integration, and artistic expression, showcasing how creativity and innovation come together in learning. Well done, 5th Graders!

Grade 10

Our Grade 10 Maple Dragons at CISH delved into installation art, a series of three-dimensional works that transform how we experience space. They learned that some installations are created indoors, while others extend outdoors as public or land art. They applied their creative knowledge by designing scaled-down models of their own installations, blending creativity, space, and design thinking. Keep imagining boldly, Maple Dragons!
