The counselor first systematically outlined the diverse pathways and essential knowledge for university admissions under the DSE curriculum.For Hong Kong-based options, they provided a detailed introduction to the JUPAS joint admissions system, including the distinctive features of programs offered by multiple universities. For mainland applications, they shared insights on how DSE students can apply to top-tier mainland institutions, such as the strengths of specific programs at select 985 universities and key application considerations. This helped students develop a strategic mindset for exploring multiple educational options.

After clarifying the direction, the college counseling team presented a diverse range of background enhancement programs tailored to the student's specific needs, including academic enrichment, subject competitions, community service, and industry internships. They advised the student to select programs aligned with their target major to build distinctive experiences for their application.

Regarding students' individualized questions, the college counseling advisor addressed each one during the consultation. By analyzing the current subject selections for DSE in light of the specific requirements of their target universities and programs, the advisor provided precise assessments of subject compatibility and offered tailored study recommendations. For instance, students were advised to regularly monitor updates on their target institutions' course offerings to better align their academic efforts with their higher education goals.

Parents serve as vital supporters and guides on their children's educational journey. The Parent Workshop provides an in-depth analysis of the 2025 DSE admission trends, helping parents grasp key admission factors comprehensively and better assist their children in planning their future.

At the outset of the workshop, Ms. Tan Senior Manager of the Admissions Department at Hong Kong Victoria Harbour Education Group and a seasoned college entrance counselor at the ASJ, she provided parents with an overview of the 2025 DSE university admissions landscape and channels for further education in Hong Kong, China, and overseas institutions, enabling parents to gain a clear understanding of the overall educational landscape and recognize the importance of multi-pathway planning.

To prevent applications from being affected by unclear timelines, Ms. Tan meticulously outlined the key dates throughout the entire admissions process along with detailed admissions policies, ensuring parents can accurately track every critical step.
