ACZS is dedicated to nurturing students into global citizens with a Chinese soul, an understanding of different cultures, and the ability to navigate freely across countries. They aim to become creators of the times with positive aspirations for the world.

学术诚信是“有原则”的一部分，这是一个学习者的特征当我们提问、询问和行动时，学习者努力做到“正直和诚实”。(IB教育背景下的学术诚信，2016,p3)。

Academic integrity is part of being "principled", which is a characteristic of a learner. When we question, inquire, and act, learners strive to be "upright and honest". (Academic Integrity in the IB Educational Context, 2016, p3).

学术诚信在学校、IB组织、⼤学和雇主中都受到⾼度重视。学术不端⾏为被视为违背所希望传授和维护的价值观的严重⾏为。对故意的学术不端⾏为绝对不能容忍。在促进学⽣和教职员⼯之间的学术诚信的过程中，中山市弘科未来小学部旨在灌输与学校使命声明和 IB 学习者概要所阐明⽬标核⼼相关的价值观；也就是说，我们旨在培养富有资源、有原则和诚实的学⽣。在这⽅⾯，学校认识到培养擅⻓且知识渊博的学⽣，他们能够研究、使⽤和承认他⼈的知识产权的重要性。

Academic integrity is highly valued in schools, IB organizations, universities, and employers. Academic misconduct is regarded as a serious act that violates the values that are intended to be taught and maintained. Deliberate academic misconduct will not be tolerated under any circumstances. In the process of promoting academic integrity among students and staff, ACZS aims to inculcate values that are core to the goals articulated in the school's mission statement and the IB Learner Profile; that is, we aim to cultivate resourceful, principled, and honest students. In this regard, the school recognizes the importance of developing proficient and knowledgeable students who can research, use, and acknowledge the intellectual property of others.

  A set of values and skills: "Academic integrity must be seen as a system of teaching, learning, and assessment of values and skills that promote personal integrity and good practice" (Diploma Programme Academic Honesty 2019 p2)

  Intellectual Property: Students must be aware of the different forms of intellectual property rights and understand that they must be respected and acknowledged. Within ACZS it is important to examine what constitutes intellectual property

  Authenticity: Students should always seek to submit or express ideas that are their own, and appropriately and fully acknowledge any sources or arguments that are cited or paraphrased to support their views. The submitted work must use the student's own language, expressions, and ideas

  Collaboration:Students can discuss ideas related to assignments, how to meet the assigned criteria, or share information sources. Legitimate collaboration does not include sharing others' work or any part of it. A student is not allowed to provide their assignments to others for copying or adaptation.

The IB Academic Honesty Policy defines malpractice “as behavior that results in, or may result in, the candidate or any other candidate gaining an unfair advantage in one or more assessment component”. (Diploma Programme Academic honesty, 2019 p3) The IB does not separate intentional and unintentional when malpractice is identified. Malpractice includes:

  Plagiarism: Presenting the words or ideas of others as one's own. This may include copying the work of other authors or speakers without proper citation, or paraphrasing without acknowledgment. This includes failing to acknowledge sources from internet sites for diagrams, tables, images, photos, or information.

  Collusion: Defined by the IB as "supporting another candidate's malpractice, such as allowing others to copy or submit one's assessment". This form of malpractice is often misunderstood by students. If a student allows another student to access their work, and the other student submits components of that work, both students will be found guilty of malpractice, even if it is unintentional. Students can collaborate on some assessment tasks, but when this happens, students must ensure that the final work is completed independently, even if it may be based on the same or similar data as other students.

• 伪造数据：不允许包括故意为评估任务或服务作为行动记录而捏造的统计数据、例子和证据。它被认为在评估部分给予学生不公平的优势，并被列为渎职。

  Falsification of data: Intentionally fabricating statistics, examples, and evidence for assessment tasks or as records of actions is not allowed. It is considered to give students an unfair advantage in assessment components and is classified as malpractice.

  Using unauthorized materials or equipment: This includes but is not limited to the use of electronic devices, study notes, dictionaries specifically prohibited in the syllabus, and other unapproved items in exams.

  Examination misconduct:Disturbing or distracting other students during exams is an example of misconduct. Others may include but are not limited to: exchanging or passing information about externally moderated exams within 24 hours of the exam; impersonating another student; failing to follow the instructions of invigilators; or stealing exam papers.

  Artificial Intelligence：At ACZS,we fully recognize the importance of equipping students with the necessary skills and knowledge to use artificial intelligence (AI) safely, ethically, and responsibly in their academic pursuits. We are committed to creating a supportive environment where students can explore the potential applications of AI while upholding the principles of academic integrity and guidelines for responsible use. Students are not permitted to access AI tools via their personal devices; however, teachers may demonstrate the use of AI to students in a variety of ways.

  They actively seek clarification from subject teachers or school librarians regarding any uncertainties about confirming sources or requirements for assessment tasks

  All works submitted to the IB are checked for plagiarism as part of the submission process for all assignments in ACZS

  Assist their children with homework, but must establish clear boundaries

• 代子女完成作业会对其自我管理能力及独立性的培养产生不利影响，家长应努力把握好这一平衡

  Doing homework for a student will have an adverse impact on the development of the child’s self-management skills and independence, and parents should strive to strike the right balance

• 了解哪些行为构成学生学术不端及其相应后果

  Understand which behaviors constitute student academic misconduct and their corresponding consequences

• 为子女申请包容性考试安排或特殊情况考量时，仅提交真实、有效的证明材料

  When applying for inclusive assessment arrangements or consideration of adverse circumstances for their children, submit only genuine and valid supporting documents

所有涉嫌学术不正之风的案件都将提交相关部门处理项目协调员，这件事将在将来进行调查向推荐老师咨询。

All suspected cases of academic misconduct will be submitted to the relevant program coordinator, who will conduct an investigation and consult with the recommending teacher.

The IB does not prescribe any specific formatting and style system. However, students must use and consistently apply the style they choose to complete their tasks. ACZS adopts a flexible approach to selecting citation and formatting guidelines. APA and MLA are two examples used by students, and guidance on these can be found in the following link:

The academic integrity policy is available for review by all staff, students, and families. The policy is regularly communicated to the entire school community. This policy document will be subject to continuous monitoring. It will be reviewed when the coordinator deems it necessary, but absolutely no later than 5 years after the date of publication. The program coordinator will ensure its implementation through planning meetings, classroom visits, and assessments.
