在教师节的温馨氛围中，一场温柔的 “正念冥想・静心之旅” 率先与老师们相遇。9 月 9 日 15:30，教学楼五楼报告厅内灯光柔和，音乐轻缓，老师们暂时放下教案与课堂的忙碌，在这里开启了一段与自我对话的专属时光。

活动以 “正念觉察” 为核心，专业引导师带领大家从深呼吸练习入手，逐步放松紧绷的肩颈，放空繁杂的思绪。从 “身体扫描” 感知每一寸肌肤的状态，到 “内观冥想” 觉察内心的情绪流动，再到 “能量修复” 想象温暖的光包裹身心 ——60 分钟的时间里，报告厅内格外安静，只有轻柔的引导语与均匀的呼吸声交织。许多老师闭上双眼，眉头渐渐舒展，在专注当下的体验中，暂时告别了教学工作的紧张与疲惫。

“平时总想着备课、关注学生，很少有时间停下来关注自己。这场冥想像给心灵做了一次按摩，感觉整个人都轻盈了。” 一位参与活动的老师这样分享。此次冥想疗愈活动，是学校对教师身心健康的贴心关怀，更是希望为大家积蓄内在力量，以更从容的心态奔赴接下来的教育旅程。

9月10日，全国第41个教师节的阳光格外温暖。清晨校园门口满是感动——同学们手捧鲜花，笑着向入校的老师问好、献花，一句句“老师节日快乐”真挚又恳切。

午餐时分的心意更藏在细节里：食堂备好的免费午餐搭配着香甜的小蛋糕，入口的软糯甜香化解工作疲惫，每位老师桌上还有学校精心准备的教师节伴手礼，满含惦念又暖心。在这样的温馨氛围中，“庆祝第四十一个教师节暨教师表彰大会”正式拉开帷幕，以庄重仪式感致敬老师们一整年的辛勤付出。

随后重点回顾了天津法拉古特的办学历史以及2024至2025学年学校在教育创新领域的突破 —— 校园环境升级，为学子打造适配必威Betway中文版的空间；GFCC中国夏令营让剑桥、斯坦福教授与学子共探全球议题；2025 年 4 月成立的 “拔尖创新人才发展中心”是教职工们结合国际升学趋势与学生特长，共同搭建的 “成长赋能平台”：从人工智能高阶课程设计，到一对一国际竞赛指导，再到链接名校学者资源，中心以 “三位一体” 培养体系（学术课程 + 竞赛实践 + 科研项目），为学生冲击全球顶尖名校筑牢根基。

“2025 届毕业生收获近 400 份全球名校 offer，1448 万元奖学金，还有天津唯一一枚牛津大学物理专业录取——这是‘12345’牛剑藤战略的完美开局！” 杨校长的话语中满是自豪，同时也勉励老师们 “坚守教育初心，不断提升专业素养，让课堂更有深度、温度、广度”，共同践行 “让每位师生都充满成就感和幸福感” 的教育追求。

随后，Junior3班学生代表Sophie以“教育不是灌输，而是点燃火焰”为引，分享了在法拉古特的成长故事。她代表全体同学致谢：感谢校领导打造国际水准学习环境，感谢学生发展中心、班主任、任课教师与升学指导老师在成长路上的引领与关怀，更感谢行政后勤团队让校园始终舒适而温暖。最后，她以“Happy Teachers Day! May you always be warm and shining!”的祝福，为教师们送上最真挚的节日问候。

颁奖环节将大会氛围推向高潮。今年学校共设立 8 大奖项，表彰在教学、管理、服务等领域表现突出的教职工：

表彰之外，师生们还带来了精彩的文艺节目：IG3 班Maizy的《绒花》歌声悠扬，用 “青春吐芳华”赞颂教师的默默奉献；Gilbert老师与Shaw同学的《茉莉花》器乐二重奏，以尤克里里与长笛的默契配合，演绎出师生间的心灵共鸣；SP1班Brian的天津戏法表演，以国家级非遗的独特魅力点燃现场氛围；最后，学生会合唱团的青春合唱响起，为这场庆典画上圆满句号。

Amid the warm atmosphere of Teachers' Day, a gentle “Mindfulness Meditation and Quiet Journey” first welcomed the teachers. At 3:30 PM on September 9th, the lecture hall on the fifth floor of the teaching building was bathed in soft lighting and gentle music. Teachers temporarily set aside their lesson plans and classroom duties to embark on a dedicated time for self-reflection.

Centered around “mindful awareness,” the session began with guided deep breathing exercises led by professional instructors. Participants gradually released tension in their shoulders and necks while clearing their minds of distracting thoughts. From “body scans” to perceive the state of every inch of skin, to “introspective meditation” to observe the flow of inner emotions, and finally to “energy restoration” where participants imagined warm light enveloping their bodies and minds—for 60 minutes, the lecture hall was exceptionally quiet, filled only with gentle guidance and the rhythmic sound of breathing. Many teachers closed their eyes, their furrowed brows gradually smoothing out. Immersed in the experience of being fully present, they temporarily set aside the tension and fatigue of their teaching duties.

“I'm always focused on lesson planning and student needs, rarely taking time to check in with myself. This meditation felt like a massage for my soul—I feel lighter all over.” A participating teacher shared these reflections. This meditation healing session reflects the school's thoughtful care for faculty well-being, aiming to help educators build inner strength and approach their educational journey ahead with greater composure.

On September 10th, the 41st National Teachers' Day, the sunshine felt especially warm. At dawn, the school gates were filled with heartwarming scenes—students holding bouquets greeted teachers arriving on campus with smiles and presented them with flowers. Their heartfelt wishes of “Happy Teachers' Day” rang out sincerely and earnestly.

The thoughtfulness at lunchtime was evident in the details: the cafeteria served complimentary meals paired with sweet mini cakes, their soft, sticky sweetness melting away the day's fatigue. Each teacher's desk also held a carefully prepared Teacher's Day gift from the school—a heartfelt token brimming with warmth and appreciation. Amidst this warm atmosphere, the “Celebration of the 41st Teachers' Day and Faculty Recognition Ceremony” officially commenced, honoring the teachers' year-long dedication with solemn ceremony.

At the commencement of the assembly, Mr. Yang Xiaoke, founder and principal of Tianjin Farragut School, took the stage to deliver his address. He first extended his most sincere holiday greetings to all faculty and staff.

The presentation then highlighted Farragut Tianjin's educational legacy and its breakthroughs in educational innovation for the 2024-2025 academic year: The GFCC China Summer Camp brings Cambridge and Stanford professors together with students to explore global issues; The “Center for Excellence in Innovation Talent Development,” established in April 2025, is a “growth empowerment platform” jointly built by faculty members based on international college admission trends and student strengths: From advanced AI curriculum design to one-on-one international competition coaching and connections to elite university scholars, the center employs a “trinity” cultivation system (academic courses + competitive practice + research projects) to lay a solid foundation for students aspiring to top global universities.

The Class of 2025 secured nearly 400 offers from top global universities, 14.48 million yuan in scholarships, and Tianjin's sole admission to Oxford University's Physics program—marking a perfect start to the ‘12345’ Oxford-Cambridge-Ivy League strategy! Principal Yang's words brimmed with pride as he encouraged teachers to “stay true to our educational mission, continuously enhance professional expertise, and make classrooms deeper, warmer, and broader,” collectively pursuing the educational vision of “filling every teacher and student with a sense of accomplishment and happiness.”

Following this, Sophie, a student representative from Junior 3, began her speech with the quote, “Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire,” sharing her growth journey at Farragut. On behalf of all students, she expressed gratitude: to the school leadership for creating an internationally competitive learning environment; to the Student Development Center, homeroom teachers, subject instructors, and college counselors for their guidance and care throughout their academic journey; and especially to the administrative and support staff for maintaining a consistently comfortable and welcoming campus. She concluded by extending her heartfelt holiday wishes to the teachers: “Happy Teachers Day! May you always be warm and shining!”

The awards ceremony brought the event to its climax. This year, the university established eight major awards to recognize faculty and staff who have demonstrated outstanding performance in teaching, administration, and service:

Outstanding Teaching Achievement Award: Honoring exceptional contributions to curriculum innovation and student performance enhancement; Outstanding Teacher Award: Recognizing dedicated educators who cultivate critical thinking through classroom excellence; Outstanding Homeroom Teacher Award: Honoring guardians who nurture student growth and bridge home-school connections; Additionally, the Fresh Talent Award symbolizes new vitality, the Long-Serving Excellence Award honors enduring commitment, the Outstanding Staff Award and Best Service Award ensure campus order, while the Admissions Contribution Award celebrates those who empower students to secure offers.

As each award recipient took the stage, the thunderous applause from the audience was not only a celebration of individual honors but also a recognition of the entire faculty and staff for “fulfilling their respective duties and working together toward a common goal.” The certificates and medals in their hands commemorate every contribution—be it “inspiring lectures in the classroom, attentive guidance in the dorms, the quiet support from the administrative offices, or the all-out effort during college application season.” They also represent the school's solemn commitment to “honoring every dedication and recognizing every effort.” From frontline teaching to support services, from newcomers' growth to seasoned dedication, these awards connect every vital thread of Farragut's educational ecosystem, making the principle that “every faculty member is a cornerstone of the school's development” even more vivid.

Beyond the awards ceremony, students and teachers presented captivating cultural performances: Maizy from IG3 class sang “Snowflakes” with a melodious voice, praising teachers' quiet dedication through the lyrics “Youth blooms in splendor”; Teacher Gilbert and student Shaw performed an instrumental duet of “Jasmine Flower,” where the harmonious blend of ukulele and flute embodied the spiritual resonance between teacher and student; Brian from SP1 class showcased Tianjin magic tricks, igniting the atmosphere with the unique charm of this nationally recognized intangible cultural heritage; finally, the Student Union Choir's youthful chorus brought the celebration to a perfect close.

From the mindfulness healing session on the 9th that “recharged” the spirit, to the recognition celebration on the 10th that ‘crowned’ their dedication, Farragut's Teacher's Day series of events consistently centered on the core theme of “caring for teachers.” Through two distinct yet complementary activities, it weaved together respect and warmth for educators. Every detail was meticulously crafted to address teachers' physical and mental well-being while affirming their professional value, ensuring educators felt respected, seen, and cared for throughout the celebration.

Now that the series of events has concluded, the warmth and strength gained will fuel our teachers' journey forward. Moving forward, Farragut will continue to collaborate with all faculty and staff, dedicating ourselves with renewed passion to deepen our commitment to international education. With unwavering dedication, we will cultivate globally-minded talents rooted in Chinese cultural heritage, jointly writing a new and beautiful chapter in education!
