The 2025 Nobel Prize in Physics has been announced. The laureates’ groundbreaking research was not the result of mechanical memorisation of formulas, but rather the fruit of innovative thinking and the courage to explore the unknown.
This embodies the essence of learning that ISA Liwan School strives for — a powerful force that drives progress and can even change the world.

这种以问启思的教学方式，有效培养了学生的高阶思维，并在实践中结出丰硕成果。前不久，在极具含金量的全球发明大会中国区（ICC）赛事中，高中（国际方向）学生团队凭借「洞察真实健康需求」的科技创新作品《太和·五音疗法系统》，斩获全国总决赛一等奖等多项殊荣，这是我校长期致力于培养学生“高阶思维与问题解决能力”的有力例证。
在爱莎荔湾，学生不再是知识的被动接受者，而是勇敢提出创意、运用所学知识解决复杂问题的研究者。

本次开放日，各学部教学区将设置学生作品展示区。展示区将向您直观地呈现学生们如何将创新与逻辑思维相结合，将课堂所学实践于真实世界。
近期，高中（国际方向）践行周的一份学生报告备受师生瞩目。以无人驾驶考察为主题的学生报告，针对智能驾驶中“电车难题”的伦理困境，提出了深刻的反思和解决方案，充分体现了学生的人文关怀与逻辑思辨能力。
学校每年举办丰富的学习成果展，如 PYP 毕业成果展、MYP 社区服务项目成果展、TOK 知识论成果展等，这些展览是学生学习旅程的生动总结，更是他们将知识转化为实践、将思考升华为创见的直观呈现。
欢迎家长亲临现场，见证学生批判性思维的火花，深入了解学校如何激发学生潜能。

Recently, our high school team won First Prize at the Global Invention Convention China Finals (ICC) for their innovative project Harmony — The Five-Tone Therapy System, exemplifying our commitment to creativity and critical inquiry.
At ISA Liwan, students are not passive recipients of knowledge — they are courageous innovators and researchers who apply learning to solve complex, real-world problems.

Creativity in Action
During the Open Day, each division will showcase student projects, illustrating how they integrate innovation with logic and apply what they’ve learned to authentic real-world contexts. A recent presentation from the Action Week of international high school focused on autonomous driving and ethics.
The student presented an impressive research report examining the moral dilemmas behind the “Trolley Problem” in AI-driven vehicles, offering thoughtful analysis and creative solutions. The report demonstrated not only logical reasoning, but also deep empathy and social awareness.
Each year, we hold a variety of learning exhibitions — including the PYP Exhibition, MYP Community Project Showcase, and DP TOK Exhibition — where students’ learning journeys are transformed into visible, tangible outcomes. These exhibitions reflect how students transform knowledge into practice and ideas into creativity.
We invite parents to join us in witnessing the sparks of critical thinking in our students and to gain deeper insight into how ISA Liwan nurtures their potential.

Through our monthly ISA Parent Academy, the school offers interactive workshops on university planning, IB philosophy, and parenting — creating a platform for meaningful dialogue between educators and families.
On Open Day, visiting parents will have the opportunity to experience our interactive workshops first-hand, stepping into the role of an “ISA Parent Learner” to feel the authentic atmosphere of inquiry and collaboration.
