夏末秋初的斐特思校园,新的生机已然涌动。在学子归来前夕,学校以一场扎实的教师培训大会,筑牢教育根基,用优质师资力量,诠释 “志存高远,造福社会” 的教育理念。
Before the students' return, FCG held a teachers' training conference to lay a solid foundation for education and interpret the educational philosophy of "Aim High, Give Back" with high-quality teaching staff.
新学年学生人数显著上升,我们也迎来了许多优秀新教师。此次培训,正是为了让这份优质力量凝聚,为新学年教学护航。
The number of students has significantly increased in the new academic year. To maintain a high student-to-teacher ratio, the school has recruited a batch of outstanding new teachers.
新教师的培训,是融入大家庭的 “第一课”。围绕 “实用” 与 “适配”,培训环节层层递进。中外方总校长分享了深耕必威Betway中文版领域的独特见解,从学校领航者视角,向老师们传达广州斐特思的使命、愿景及新学年目标,让新教师理解跨文化教育里国际视野与本土情怀的平衡。在教学业务专项指导上,国际课程专家与资深骨干教师详细解读课程标准、分析教材重难点,指导个性化教学设计。
Integrate into the FCG Education Ecosystem
The training for new teachers is the "first lesson" for them to integrate into the FCG family. Centring on "practicality" and "adaptability", the training sessions progress step by step. The Heads of College shared their unique insights gained from years of experience in international education, conveying the mission, vision and new academic year goals of FCG. In terms of specialised guidance on teaching, curriculum experts elaborated on the curriculum standards, analysed the key and difficult points of the teaching materials, and guided the design of personalised education.

Deepen the Connotation of Education
In the new academic year, the Heads of College emphasized that high-quality courses and teaching are the key to success. They asked teachers to further deepen the integration of the school's 6C competency model into the teaching curriculum, making it an essential quality and ability for students.
在教学研究与创新方面,广州斐特思始终鼓励教师开展教学研究与创新,以提升教学质量和效果。培训中,学校精心策划多场教学研讨会,涵盖深化学科教学、学生发展支持等领域,教师们相互分享经验,共同探讨先进教学方法。
FCG has always encouraged teachers to carry out teaching research and innovation to enhance teaching quality and effectiveness. During the training, the school planned multiple teaching seminars covering areas such as deepening subject teaching and student development support. Teachers shared their experiences and jointly explored advanced teaching methods.
在品格教育与安全保护上,儿童安全保护主任及中学人文关怀主任共同围绕儿童安全保护与“如何将品格教育融入日常教学与校园生活” 展开专题研讨,进一步深化教师 “以学生为中心” 的教学理念,坚守 “让每个学生都感受到安全与保护” 的信念。
In terms of character education and safety protection, the Designated Safeguarding Lead and the Secondary Pastoral Care Head jointly held a special discussion on child safety protection and "how to integrate character education into daily teaching and campus life", further deepening the student-centred teaching concept and the belief of "making every student feel safe and protected".
学院管理模式讲解中, 两位学院导师介绍了四大学院划分逻辑,分享如何通过学院制活动打破年级壁垒,培养学生集体荣誉感;寄宿部专题培训则明确 “细心、耐心、用心” 的管理标准与流程,强化 “教学 + 寄宿” 协同育人意识。
During the house management model session, two house mentors introduced the four house division logics. They shared how to break the grade barriers through house system activities and cultivate students' sense of collective honour. The special training on the boarding department clearly defined the management standards and processes of "carefulness, patience and dedication", and strengthened the awareness of collaborative education between teaching and boarding.
全体教师培训暂落帷幕,广州斐特思全体教师已整装待发,静候学子归来,共赴新学年的教育新征程。
The all-staff training has come to an end. All the teachers are now fully prepared and are looking forward to the return of the students to embark on a new journey together in the new academic year.
