At the recently concluded 2025 Singapore International Mathematics Olympiad Challenge (SIMOC), 11 students from ISA Tianhe achieved remarkable success, bringing home 5 gold, 3 silver, and 6 bronze medals — a 100% award rate! Guided by their maths teacher, Mr. Will, and supported by head of school Ms. Beth, these students showcased their exceptional skills on an international stage.
This outstanding achievement highlights the mathematical talent of ISA Tianhe's IB learners while reflecting the school’s holistic approach to education. From critical thinking to collaboration and innovative problem-solving, these students truly embodied the core attributes of the IB learning framework.

At the heart of our mathematics programme is White Rose Maths, a curriculum that fosters a deep understanding of mathematical concepts through logical reasoning, problem-solving, and real-world applications. Seamlessly aligned with the IB framework, White Rose Maths supports our students in building strong mathematical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and critical thinking skills — all core elements of the IB philosophy.

To further nurture their mathematical abilities, students have the opportunity to participate in our weekly Maths Club, which runs throughout the year. This club focuses on Olympiad-level mathematics, challenging students with advanced problems that extend beyond the standard curriculum. It encourages deeper engagement, creative problem-solving, and the development of skills required to excel in high-level competitions.

In preparation for events like SIMOC, the school’s mathematics team enhances this foundation with targeted training sessions specifically designed for competition readiness. These sessions, held in the four weeks leading up to the event every Wednesday and Thursday, help students consolidate their mathematical knowledge, refine their logical reasoning, and practise applying their skills to challenging real-world problems.
为迎接SIMOC这一高含金量国际赛事，数学教学团队制定了科学的备赛方案，开展为期四周的专项集训，每周三、周四进行系统训练。学生们在老师们的指导下系统性梳理数学知识，强化逻辑思维与实际问题解决能力。
