The PolyU Summer Institute 2025 is your gateway to explore an immersive university experience at PolyU, for Secondary 4 and Secondary 5 students (or equivalent). You will engage in a series of fun activities led by PolyU student leaders, learn about various programme options and delve into the vibrant campus life at PolyU.
Residential Camp (5 days, 4 nights)
The residential camp, running from 21 to 25 July 2025 (Monday to Friday), is the key component of the PolyU Summer Institute, delivering an immersive experience for secondary school students. During the five days, participants get to experience university life first-hand through a series of activities led by PolyU’s academic and student mentors, exploring subject and career choices.
Credit-Bearing Course (5 days)
Participants can opt to attend a 5-day credit-bearing course (40
quotas) as part of the PolyU Summer Institute to test their academic
abilities in a university setting. The course will run from 28 July to 1 August 2025 (Monday to Friday), offering
participants hands-on visits and an understanding of the latest
industrial trends. Additionally, they will gain first-hand insights into
university-level expectations and resources, perfect for participants
transitioning from secondary to tertiary education.
