Interdisciplinary learning is a trend that can enrich knowledge from different subjects for successful innovations. The Future Innovator in STEM programme focuses on cross-discipline learning, that combines Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

The programme begins with a foundation course on the design process concept, Artificial Intelligence, and Big data analysis which can develop the basic skillsets for the cycle “from ideas to products”. Moreover, students could consolidate their knowledge learned from different subjects to develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. The programme was designed with a hands-on practical workshop to apply theoretical knowledge to practice. Students can experience self-developed items by participating in two streams; Stream A (SISS2513A) for Data & AI Literacy for Modern Society with a mini project creation related to Technology OR for Stream B (SISS2513B) Innovations in developing the racing car.
